Medical Management Plans
When enrolling your child in a Camp Australia Outside School
Hours Care Service, please ensure that you provide any relevant
Medical Management Plans at the time of enrolment. These plans will
ensure that we have all the relevant information on hand to provide
the highest quality of care to your child.
Medical Management Plans:
For all children with a medical condition that impacts on the
ability of staff within the Service to provide them with high
quality care, parents must advise the Service and submit an
appropriate Medical Management Plan. Submission of the relevant
Medical Management Plan will ensure that the child receives
appropriate medical attention and medication as required.
The Medical Management Plan outlines the symptoms and proper
techniques for administering such treatments and that the Medical
Management Plan is available at the time of entry into the
Service.

Administration of Medication:
If medication is required, the parent must ensure that a completed
and signed Medication Record Form advising staff of medication
required, dosage and time of administration is implemented.
Administration of medication to children at the request of their
parents is a task that requires attention to detail, meticulous
record keeping and common sense. With our duty of care to both the
children and parents, it is a responsibility that is taken very
seriously.
