When enrolling your child in a Camp Australia Outside School Hours Care Service, please ensure that you provide any relevant Medical Management Plans at the time of enrolment. These plans will ensure that we have all the relevant information on hand to provide the highest quality of care to your child.

Administration of Medication

If medication is required, the parent must ensure that a completed and signed Medication Record Form advising staff of medication required, dosage and time of administration is implemented and a medical register will be maintained.  In the case of an emergency, medication will only be administered with permission of a medical practioner.

Accidents

At all times, Camp Australia has an employee present with a current first aid qualification. In the event of a serious incident, injury or sickness, the Coordinator will contact the parents / guardian immediately. Where required an ambulance may also be called. Injury reports will be documented and are to be signed by the parent / guardian and the employee present.  Under no circumstances will a child be transported to the doctor or hospital in a staff member's car.
