5 Keys to Success
To provide a successful Outside School Hours Care Service that
meets the needs of the school community, and engages the children
every single day, there are five areas of operation and management
that must be delivered seamlessly:
Program
At the heart of every Service lies the program...the key to
success here is making it FUN, ENGAGING and STIMULATING! Our
programs are built around the children's wants, their parent's
needs, and reflective of the school community's values.
Staff
The staff have the ability to create a safe and inclusive
environment that children want to return to time and time again. We
place significant importance in employing staff that are passionate
about child care, and who are local to the service - as they are
already a part of this community.
Administration
There are four areas of administration when it comes to running
a service - Bookings and Cancellations, Attendance Registers, CCB
and Government Paperwork and Invoicing and Payments.
Quality Assurance and
Regulations
All Services must comply with National Standards for Outside
School Hours Care and the Outside School Hours Care Quality
Assurance process, which define the industry standards and
benchmark for childcare.
Operations
The number one priority of all of our Outside School Hours Care
Services is that they meet the needs of the children, parents, and
school community. In doing this we can assure that every child
feels included and engaged whilst in our care.
Our Outside
School Hours Care Booklet explains in detail how we strive to
provide excellent programming, service and support to all the
schools and communities we partner with. To download your own copy
