School Aged Care - Coordinator

As a Coordinator, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering a fun and engaging program for the kids at your service.

Your role includes:

  • Planning and coordinating fun, innovative and stimulating activities that involve all children
  • Developing a daily routine for children involving the serving of breakfast and/or afternoon tea, activities and quiet time
  • Ensuring children are always appropriately supervised
  • Assisting with the management of rosters to ensure required staff to child ratio is maintained at all times
  • Maintaining regular contact with school staff and Principal
  • Maintaining accurate weekly attendance rolls
  • Recognising and manage inappropriate behaviour, with assistance from Regional Manager and other Co-Workers where necessary
  • Providing your Regional Manager with any recommendations or ideas you have to assist in the ongoing improvement and development of the service and Camp Australia
  • Filling emergency shifts where required using your Field Console, contacting the Staffing Team for assistance as needed
School Aged Care - Assistant

As an Assistant you will support the Coordinator in providing a fun and safe environment for the kids while supervising and facilitating activities.

 Your role includes:

  • Assisting Coordinator in planning and coordinating fun, innovative and stimulating activities
  • Assisting with the preparation and serving of food
  • Ensuring children are always visible and appropriately supervised
  • Assisting  with cleaning and maintaining the venue
  • Assisting with setting and packing up the venue 
Support Worker for kids with special needs This very special role works one-on-one with children with additional needs, and supports their full involvement in the program. Full training is provided for these very special staff members.
