Flying to the moon and back, creating a snow man, racing around
outdoors playing soccer and imagining faraway lands; every visit to
Camp Australia's Before and After School Care programs is an
adventure.
We work in partnership with the school community to deliver a
unique program, designed by the community for the community, backed
by over 25 years' experience in the industry. Programs extend
on the local school curriculum and are tailored to meeting kids
interests.
As we get to the know children, activities are tailored more
closely to their individual interests, with behaviours in the
program reflective of the school and community values.
Camp Australia celebrates diversity and every program includes
elements of:
- Outdoor play time - sport, skills development,
general play and inclusive games;
- Construction and manipulative play - art and
craft, cooking and indoor games;
- Creative time - outlets such as drama and
musical appreciation;
- Life skills - community involvement, role
playing, communication and social skills development;
- Homework and quiet time - enabling children to
spend quality time with their family when they go home; and
- Unique experiences - children get to
experience different sports and artistic pursuits such as circus
skills, yoga, fencing, pilates, skateboarding, martial arts, golf
and calisthenics.
Programs are fun, active and engaging. Each is well-resourced
and designed to meet the individual needs of the local
community.
