Staff
We are specialists in recruiting, training and delivering
passionate and well trained staff suited to the communities we
partner with. Staff are motivated, qualified, and
responsible. We understand having staff who are passionate about
working with kids is crucial to running a successful before and
after school care program.
All Camp Australia staff are trained through our specialist
induction program. Staff gain skills through the Camp Australia
Outside School Hours Care Training Framework and are supported
day-to-day by their 'buddy'.
Regular visits by expert child care operations staff ensure new
team members settle into their school and are confident in
supporting the program. A dedicated staff hotline and
ongoing training through the Camp Australia Registered Training
Organisation provides additional support throughout the year.
For staff looking for a long term career in the before and after
school care sector, each year Camp Australia operates a Management
Trainee program. This program provides leadership skills, further
develops program support skills and equips the Trainee with the
confidence and experience to support multiple before and after
school care programs.

Community
We partner with the school community to deliver a unique
program, designed by the community for the community and backed by
more than 25 years' experience in the industry.
Camp Australia invests and empowers the school community by
building on the educational experience. We partner with the school
and community to develop a high quality, fun, safe, engaging,
well-resourced and inclusive program reinforcing, or extending, the
local school curriculum and tailored to meet the kid's
interests.
More than simply 'child care', Camp Australia staff will become
part of the school community. The Coordinator and Assistants who
work in the program each day pride themselves on getting to know
children, parents and school staff.
In particular we will;
- Walk Kindergarten children to and from their classroom each day
as they settle into school;
- Attend school assemblies, new parent days/evenings/tours and
other special information days;
- Check with the school office for children booked, but who may
be sick and not attending school;
- Provide care on Pupil Free Day/Curriculum Days if
required;
- Produce a newsletter (weekly, or at your required frequency)
which will include articles explaining all the fun activities,
along with any administrative information for families on enrolling
and gaining access to government funding;
- Program themes that integrate with the school curriculum;
- Deliver program policies that aligns with the school, including
Conduct and Behaviour Management; and
- Develop a program that aligns with the values of the
school.

Camp Australia systems encompass everything from licencing,
service delivery and record keeping. Parents gain access to a
fully online and secure Parent Portal allowing parents to book
online and manage their accounts. These systems are backed by the
Camp Australia Specialist Customer Service Team who provides
