"My son's face lights up when I
tell him he'll be going to After-School Care that day. The
activities and programs run by Camp Australia are interactive and
fun. It is reassuring to know they are entertained and supervised
in the safety and familiarity of the school environment."

Camp Australia delivers fun, safe, engaging, well-resourced,
inclusive and compliant programs tailored to meet local
needs.
Kids can travel to Mars, be immersed in another culture, create a
pyramid from popsicle sticks, race around outside playing red
carpet tiggy, bake a delicious healthy slice and learn about
recycling - and that's all in an afternoon!
Camp Australia Before and After School Care programs provide the
structure, framework and flexibility to allow kids to flourish. We
are dedicated to helping all kids reach their full potential,
positively impacting lives and spreading smiles.
Every program includes elements
of:
- Outdoor play time - sport, skills development, general play and
inclusive games;
- Construction and manipulative play - art and craft, cooking and
indoor games;
- Creative time - outlets such as drama and musical
appreciation;
- Life skills - community involvement, role playing,
communication and social skills development;
- Homework and quiet time - enabling children to spend quality
time with their family when they go home; and
- Unique experiences - children get to experience different
sports and artistic pursuits such as circus skills, yoga, fencing,
pilates, skateboarding, martial arts, golf and calisthenics.

Resources
Camp Australia's Team of motivated
staff have an endless supply of fun each day - from the exciting
ideas in our Activity Library, cooking ingredients and utensils
through to giant earth balls and even a circus skills kit!
Resources at each program include
board games, jigsaws, construction materials, plastic play food,
dress ups, musical instruments, cars and trains. Sporting equipment
includes bats, balls, hoops, beanbags and skipping ropes. For large
programs with dedicated space, large game tables are available for
foozball, ping-pong and air-hockey.
As an added extra, a suite of fun
"resource kits" (for circus, fitness and adventure) are provided to
Camp Australia Services on a rotational basis. In addition to
the resources within the program, Camp Australia programs often
include special visitors and programs from the Active After School Communities program.
Equipment levels are reviewed each
term to ensure the quality and quantity of equipment meets the
needs of the program.

Celebrating Diversity and Children with Additional Needs
Community diversity is something to be
embraced and celebrated.
Camp Australia prides itself on its
inclusive programs reflecting and celebrating diversity in the
community.
Emphasis is placed on multicultural resources and activities
which promote traditions and cultures from across the globe, and
even a few in outerspace, as well as an understanding of Australian
culture.
Reflecting on the variety of cultures of the children attending
before and after school care enables themed programming around
activities, celebrations, life, language and schooling.
Camp Australia's celebration of diversity does not stop at
cultural diversity. We are dedicated to helping all children reach
their full potential.
Fun special needs resources are
incorporated into all Camp Australia programs to support
integration of kids into the program.
This includes the use of sign language
games and activities as an exciting way to encourage interaction
between kids and tactile resources for children with impaired
vision. Activities and programs are also influenced by our
partnership with external organisations such as Interchange.

Homework Club
Camp Australia's Homework Club ensures
children have the ability to complete homework tasks during after
school care, thereby providing more quality time with their
families each day.

of the after school care program, regular themes are implemented
throughout the year to foster creativity, critical thinking and
