More than 25 years ago we ran our first tennis program after
school - in addition to teaching the game, we were passionate about
helping kids develop an active lifestyle while having a lot of fun.
This program offered parents of school age kids care that was safe,
accessible, affordable and importantly that the kids wanted to be a
part of.
Soon, with the help of some teacher mates, we were providing
programs in the school holidays. One school became a few, and more
and more parents were telling us that they needed care for their
kids after school.
They wanted care that was high quality and safe; they wanted it
to be fun; and believed the kids should get something out of it
too.
From these simple beginnings, Camp Australia Before and After
School Care was born.
Affordable and reliable child care is critical to helping families
balance life and work responsibilities. We recognise this and
support families through partnerships with schools to deliver high
quality before and after school care programs which are accessible
and sustainable.
We partner with school communities to deliver tailored before and
after school care programs focused on bringing out the best in kids
- combining active games with structured and unstructured play,
quiet time and a healthy snack.
What started out as two brothers' passion has today extended to
hundreds of schools across Australia and thousands of motivated,
qualified and enthusiastic team members who have joined the Camp
Australia family.
To improve the lives of even more children, we also created the
Camp Australia Foundation, a charity focused on positively
impacting the lives of kids across the globe.
However, when people ask what we do - the reply is simple and has
always been the same;
