What does my child need to bring to before and after school
care?
Kids need to be adventure ready when they join Camp Australia
Before and After School Care - they need a hat, water bottle and
any medication that may be required.

documents, details of any allergies, special needs, immunisation
records or custody orders.
What time does before school and after school care open and
close?
Each service is different, and program hours reflect the needs
of the community. Most before school care programs operate from 7am
until the first school bell.
After care programs start at the end of the school day and close
between 6pm and 7pm, depending upon each school's requirements.
How do bookings work?

Booking cancellations with less than 7 days' notice will incur the
session charge, less

Child Care Rebate.

also have reduced fees for shorter sessions where children are
involved in another on-school activity.
When will I be billed?
Your statement for before and after school care usage will be
sent every two weeks via email.
Before we send your statement, we first verify your child's
attendance at the program, and then submit the relevant information
to the Federal Government for calculation of your benefits and
rebates. Once these reductions have been confirmed, your
statement is then issued.

parents need to provide all other meals for the duration of the
day.
Food is selected with careful consideration to the
children's growth and developmental needs. We follow a philosophy
of low salt, low sugar, low fat and ensure dietary, cultural
and religious requirements are also considered along with
nutritional value.
In addition to the fruit and healthy snacks provided at the
program, kids also have the opportunity to enjoy cooking activities
while learning about healthy eating.
To ensure the safety of all children, there are a few items that
are not provided. Camp Australia programs do not provide peanuts,
peanut products and other forms of nuts. High risk foods (such as
meat) that require refrigeration during transport are also not
provided in the program.

Specifically authorised adults are only permitted to leave with
children ensuring safety, parental wishes and custody requirements
are adhered to.
Custody arrangements are in place, how can I ensure these are
adhered to?
To ensure your child's care is appropriately managed we will
require a copy of any applicable court orders. After providing this
to the service, we will review the information and the documents
will be attached to the child's records. All information is treated
confidentially and with sensitivity.
If there are any changes, we ask that you notify us
promptly.
