CCMS for Schools

On JULY 1 Outside School Hours Care changed forever.

This date signaled the commencement for all Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Services to transition to Child Care Management System (CCMS) compliant software for the electronic lodgement of the Child Care Benefit (CCB) data.

On a weekly basis your OSHC Service will have to provide electronic CCB data to the Government - you must be compliant and your software ready to transition.

So are you ready to transition - can you say YES to all of the following?

• Your software provider is Government compliant and registered.
• You can electronically lodge for the Child Care Benefit by July 2008 on a weekly basis.
• You have commenced collecting the Date of Birth for each Child and Parent.
• Your have commenced collecting Customer Reference Numbers for each Child AND Parent.
• Your software provider has successfully completed a pilot.
• You have trained your staff in what CCMS means for them.
• You are aware of what costs are involved in upgrading your software and training your staff.
