All Outside School Hours Care services are required to adhere to
strict standards and regulations in order to operate. Earlier this
year our Services were introduced to the National Quality Framework
including the draft Regulations and how they will impact the
current operations in OSHC and other areas in Children's Services.
The new National Quality Framework (to be officially introduced in
January 2012) demands increased compliance from all Outside School
Hours Care providers. Camp Australia leads the way in this area and
has tremendous experience in providing fully compliant
services.
OSHC has not previously been regulated at a national level and
at Camp Australia we welcome this positive change to the industry.
Historically we have excelled in the area of compliance and have
worked closely with DEECD and the National Childcare Accreditation
Council to ensure all Services received high quality ratings.
Due to our experience and longevity in the industry, we have
become an important source of information to the State Governments
and have been directly involved in forums, meeting groups and
strategy planning. The Government seek our counsel to ensure that
operations and regulations are practical and planned accordingly
for our industry.
Our strong relationships with Government representatives means
we are always at the forefront of industry changes and future
planning.
